The QA Analyst role is a permanent, fullβtime position within the Banking Operations β Compliance area. As a QA Analyst, you will spearhead the evolution of Barclaysβ digital landscape by ensuring the highest quality of KYC and financial crime processes. Your core responsibilities include analysing client data stored in KYC files, preparing executive summaries, documenting testing procedures for auditability, and embedding regulatory requirements into dayβtoβday operations. You will collaborate with KYC Operations, Financial Crime teams, and senior stakeholders to identify gaps, recommend remedial actions, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
1. Analyse KYC files to verify compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
2. Prepare executive summaries, reports, and management information for senior leadership.
3. Document all testing in a reproducible format for auditors and thirdβparty reviewers.
4. Build knowledge of Barclays ERMF, policies, and the Financial Crime Key Risk Framework.
5. Facilitate knowledge sharing and bestβpractice adoption across teams.
6. Resolve complex KYC cases using strong problemβsolving and teamwork skills.
7. Maintain effective stakeholder relationships with KYC Operations and Financial Crime.
8. Support the KYC change programme and deliver highβquality outputs.
9. Identify industry trends and recommend bestβpractice implementations.
10. Participate in projects to improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.
Tech stack and tools: KYC management systems, AML software, Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and internal reporting dashboards.
