As part of this ecosystem, the Associate Analyst β Automation Testing role offers fresh graduates a fastβtrack entry into the world of quality engineering.
In this role, you will partner closely with developers, business analysts and senior QA engineers to design, develop and maintain automated test suites for web and API applications. You will be involved in the entire testing lifecycle β from understanding functional requirements and creating test scenarios, to executing regression suites and reporting defects. The position is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, have a basic grasp of programming, and are passionate about delivering defectβfree software.
Key responsibilities:
1. Analyse business and functional specifications to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
2. Develop, execute and maintain Seleniumβbased automated scripts for web applications.
3. Design and run API test suites using Postman or RESTβAssured.
4. Perform functional, regression, smoke and sanity testing across multiple releases.
5. Log, track and verify defects using defect management tools such as JIRA.
6. Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
7. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies β sprint planning, daily standβups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
8. Contribute to test documentation, execution reports and quality metrics dashboards.
9. Keep abreast of emerging test automation frameworks, tools and best practices.
10. Assist in CI/CD pipeline integration using Jenkins and version control with Git.
Tech stack: Selenium WebDriver, Java/Python, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), Postman, RESTβAssured, Git, SQL, Jenkins, Agile/Scrum.
