Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Vecmocon Technologies is an emerging Indian startup headquartered in Noida, specializing in vehicle telematics, energy‑stack solutions and next‑generation electric mobility platforms. The company collaborates closely with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to deliver integrated hardware, firmware and software products that enable real‑time vehicle monitoring, battery management and smart charging. With a strong focus on innovation, Vecmocon has built a reputation for rapid prototyping, rigorous system validation and a culture that encourages engineers to own end‑to‑end product development.
As a Systems Engineer (Intern) you will be part of a small, high‑impact team that bridges mechanical, electrical and firmware domains. Reporting to senior systems engineers, you will assist in translating high‑level vehicle requirements into detailed system specifications, create architecture diagrams, and help drive verification and validation activities across powertrain, battery and telematics subsystems. This role offers a unique blend of hands‑on hardware debugging, embedded software exposure and systems‑level thinking, making it an ideal launchpad for fresh engineering graduates eager to work in the EV ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the creation and maintenance of System Requirement Documents (SOR/SRS) and functional specifications.
2. Assist in drafting system architecture, defining interfaces between hardware, firmware and software components.
3. Contribute to DFMEA, risk analysis and design‑improvement initiatives.
4. Maintain requirements traceability matrices and manage change requests.
5. Help prepare verification and validation plans; execute functional, performance and reliability tests under guidance.
6. Identify system‑level test cases for powertrain, battery, charger and telematics modules and draft test procedures.
7. Perform basic numerical analysis of test data to support objective decision‑making.
8. Participate in design reviews, root‑cause analysis (RCA) and corrective‑action implementation.
9. Create and update technical documentation such as schematics, integration workflows and validation reports.
10. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely product development and compliance with quality standards.
Tech Stack & Tools: System requirement management tools, DFMEA templates, MATLAB/Simulink (good to have), embedded C/C++ development environments, circuit simulation software, version‑control (Git), basic PCB design tools, and standard office productivity suites.
Growth Path: Starting as an intern, high performers can transition to full‑time Systems Engineer, then progress to Senior Systems Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer and eventually System Architecture Manager, with increasing responsibility over product portfolios and mentorship roles.
Why Join Vecmocon: You will gain direct exposure to cutting‑edge EV technologies, work alongside seasoned engineers and OEM partners, and contribute to products that have a tangible impact on sustainable transportation. The fast‑paced startup environment offers ownership, rapid skill acquisition and clear career progression for ambitious freshers.
