The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) role is designed as a launchpad for recent engineering graduates to gain handsβon experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and related automation projects. Trainees will work under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, contributing to the design, implementation, and testing of HVAC control solutions for global clients. The position offers exposure to realβworld projects, structured training modules, and the opportunity to interact with crossβfunctional teams across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Execute design and application engineering tasks for Building Management Systems, focusing on HVAC control logic.
2. Assist in preparing detailed Project Execution Plans in coordination with senior team members.
3. Participate in onβsite installations, commissioning, and functional testing of hardware and software packages.
4. Ensure adherence to quality standards, performing defectβfree deliveries and maintaining documentation.
5. Follow established processes and guidelines to meet project timelines and customer expectations.
6. Attend internal training sessions, workshops, and client meetings to enhance technical and soft skills.
7. Support the preparation of technical reports, asβbuilt drawings, and handover documents.
8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot issues and propose improvement ideas.
9. Maintain a log of project progress and communicate status updates to supervisors.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
**Tech Stack & Tools**: Building Automation platforms (e.g., Metasys, Tridium Niagara), HVAC control algorithms, PLC programming, SCADA interfaces, AutoCAD for schematics, MS Office suite for documentation, and project management tools like MS Project.
