The Associate Engineer β Digital Technology role is a quality engineering position that sits at the heart of the Agile delivery pipeline. As a Quality Engineer, you will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and senior QA leads to ensure that every release meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and microβservices, as well as executing manual tests when required.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
2. Create functional, regression, and integration test cases for web and API layers.
3. Execute API tests in Postman and validate responses against expected outcomes.
4. Log defects in Jira, assign severity, and track resolution.

6. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
7. Troubleshoot test failures and environment issues.
8. Review user stories and acceptance criteria to design test scenarios.
