As a Finance Intern (Bachelorβs) in the Bengaluru office, you will be immersed in a fastβpaced, dataβdriven environment where accounting, audit, and financial analysis intersect with cuttingβedge technology. This role is designed for CA students who are eligible for industrial training under ICAI guidelines and are eager to apply classroom concepts to realβworld business challenges. You will work closely with senior finance professionals, gaining exposure to US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SAPβbased financial processes while contributing to the companyβs strategic financial planning and reporting activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.
2. Perform detailed variance analysis, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
3. Support internal control testing and SOX compliance activities, documenting findings and remediation steps.
4. Work on SAP modules related to general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring data integrity and timely postings.
5. Develop and maintain advanced Excel models, utilizing pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros to streamline largeβdataset processing.
6. Participate in FP&A tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for commercial sites.
7. Collaborate with crossβfunctional teams to gather financial data, clarify assumptions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
8. Prepare concise financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
9. Contribute ideas for process improvement, automation, and bestβpractice implementation within the finance function.
10. Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and a proactive attitude in all interactions.
**Tech Stack**: SAP ERP, Microsoft Excel (advanced), Hyperion, PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of database querying.
