The role of a Software Engineer β Freshers at CGI is designed for recent graduates who are eager to start their professional journey in a dynamic, fastβpaced environment. As a junior member of the development team, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to coding, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities:
1. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java, .NET, or Python based on project requirements.
2. Participate in requirement analysis sessions and translate business needs into technical specifications.
3. Develop and execute unit test cases to ensure code quality and reliability.
4. Collaborate with crossβfunctional teams including QA, UI/UX, and DevOps to deliver integrated solutions.
5. Assist in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adopting best practices.
6. Debug and resolve defects reported by QA or production support teams.
7. Contribute to documentation of design, architecture, and deployment procedures.
8. Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.
9. Adhere to agile methodologies, attend daily standβups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
10. Participate in knowledgeβsharing sessions and internal training programs.
Tech Stack: Java / Spring Boot, .NET Core, Python, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS cloud services.
