
Eligibility Criteria
Currently pursuing a B.Tech (3rd or 4th year) or M.Tech (1st year) in Control & Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum aggregate of 60% (or CGPA 6.0/10) in the current program. No active backlogs at the time of joining. Candidates should have strong academic project work or personal projects demonstrating proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and basic versionβcontrol concepts.

The internship in Software Development and Testing is hosted within the Loads and Controls Engineering Department of the Technology Business Unit. As an intern, you will work sideβbyβside with senior engineers on the development of tools that automate reporting, validate controller performance, and streamline the certification workflow for nextβgeneration wind turbines. The role offers a rare blend of software engineering, control theory, and realβworld renewable energy applications, making it an ideal stepping stone for engineering graduates passionate about both code and climate impact.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Designing and coding MATLAB and Python functions for automated reporting and controller validation.
2. Testing and validating new and existing software tools to ensure reliability and performance.
3. Collaborating with engineers to debug issues and enhance tool functionality based on feedback.
4. Implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
5. Maintaining version control using Git and documenting changes accurately.
6. Preparing technical documentation, user guides, and development notes in LaTeX.
7. Generating dataβanalysis reports and creating presentation decks for engineering reviews.
8. Assisting in the preparation of controller certification documents.
9. Supporting the automation of build and test processes to reduce manual effort.
10. Participating in team meetings, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
The tech stack revolves around MATLAB, Python, LaTeX, Git, CI/CD tools (GitLab/Jenkins), Artifactory, and agile project management platforms like Jira.
