Eligibility Criteria
Currently pursuing a Bachelorโs degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related technical field. Minimum 60% in the latest semester (or equivalent GPA). No backlogs allowed. Must be a resident of India for the full duration of the internship. English proficiency required.

The Application Engineering Intern โ Winter 2027 role is designed for students who are passionate about building scalable internal tools that streamline business processes. Interns will work closely with crossโfunctional teams, including product managers, data analysts, and senior engineers, to design, develop, and deploy custom applications that support Googleโs internal operations. The internship spans 26 weeks, starting in January 2027, and requires fullโtime commitment.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Designing and implementing custom frontโend interfaces (web or mobile) and backโend services.
2. Writing clean, modular code with a focus on maintainability and performance.
3. Integrating thirdโparty products and APIs into internal systems.
4. Configuring and customizing vendorโsourced enterprise software.
5. Collaborating with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Conducting unit and integration testing, and documenting test cases.
7. Troubleshooting production issues and providing timely resolutions.
8. Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
9. Ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.
10. Contributing to continuous improvement of internal tooling.
