The role of Software Engineer I is an entryβlevel position designed for fresh graduates who are eager to translate their academic knowledge into realβworld solutions. As a member of the development squad, you will contribute to building responsive web applications, microβservices, and platform components that serve millions of customers worldwide. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, participate in code reviews, and leverage AIβassisted development tools to boost productivity. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to split your time between the vibrant campuses in Chennai and Bengaluru and remote work, fostering a balanced professional environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6/ES7).
2. Write clean, wellβdocumented code following industry best practices and company coding standards.
3. Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
4. Build and support microβservices using Javaβbased frameworks such as Spring Boot or Vert.x.
5. Create and execute automated test suites with Jest and React Testing Library.
6. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects across development, testing, integration and production environments.
7. Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
8. Adopt Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver incremental value in sprint cycles.
9. Leverage AIβpowered tools for code generation, testing, and performance analysis.
10. Continuously upskill by exploring emerging technologies and sharing knowledge within the team.
