The role of Software Engineer I is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to realβworld problems. As a member of the Enterprise Technology Services team, you will work on building and maintaining webβbased applications that power critical business functions. You will write clean, efficient code, participate in peer reviews, and leverage AIβassisted development tools to accelerate delivery. The position offers exposure to both frontβend and backβend technologies, allowing you to develop a fullβstack perspective while collaborating with product managers, designers, and senior engineers.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using React, Redux, and modern JavaScript standards.
2. Write clean, scalable, and wellβdocumented code adhering to engineering best practices.
3. Participate in code reviews and automated testing (Jest, React Testing Library) to ensure high quality.
4. Build and support microβservices using Java, Spring Boot or Vert.x, integrating them with frontβend components.
5. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects across development, testing, and production environments.
6. Collaborate with crossβfunctional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
7. Monitor application performance and implement improvements for reliability and scalability.
8. Leverage AIβpowered tools for code generation, testing, and productivity enhancements.
9. Continuously learn emerging technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.
10. Document technical designs, APIs, and deployment procedures.
