The Software Engineer Intern role sits within the Product Engineering team and offers a full‑time, hybrid experience for students or fresh graduates eager to work on real‑world projects. Interns will be paired with senior architects, developers, and quality engineers, gaining hands‑on exposure to modern development practices, AI‑enabled features, and rigorous testing methodologies. The internship is designed to blend software development with quality engineering, allowing participants to contribute to backend services, build AI‑driven components, and automate functional and performance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain Python‑based backend services using FastAPI and micro‑service patterns.
2. Implement RESTful APIs, handle JSON/XML payloads, and ensure robust API testing with Postman.
3. Build and integrate Generative AI features such as LLM prompts, RAG pipelines, and AI agents using LangChain or Azure OpenAI.
4. Create automated test frameworks for functional, API, integration, and performance testing.
5. Write complex SQL queries for data validation across PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar databases.
6. Participate in code reviews, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
7. Debug defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to deliver fixes.
8. Document technical designs, test cases, and project outcomes.
9. Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand‑ups.
10. Explore cloud services on AWS or Azure to deploy and monitor micro‑services.
