The Associate Software Dev Engineer role in Hyderabad is a dedicated test‑automation position within MetLife’s technology organisation. Reporting to the QA Lead, the engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, API and native mobile applications. The role demands hands‑on experience with Java or TypeScript, Azure DevOps pipelines, and performance testing tools such as JMeter and BlazeMeter. Candidates will work in an Agile setting, contributing to CI/CD workflows, test‑driven development and ensuring high‑quality releases for MetLife’s digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Build, enhance and maintain automation frameworks for Web, API and Native applications. 2. Design and implement test scripts in Java or TypeScript covering functional, regression and performance scenarios. 3. Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines to enable continuous testing. 4. Conduct performance testing using JMeter and BlazeMeter, analyse results and provide actionable insights. 5. Collaborate with developers, product owners and QA peers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. 6.
