Reliance Jio, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, is India's largest digital connectivity provider, serving over 524 million customers and pioneering next‑generation 5G and digital infrastructure at an unprecedented scale. The company’s mission is to bring affordable, high‑speed internet to every corner of India, and it has become synonymous with innovation, speed, and customer focus. As part of its growth strategy, Jio is expanding its Network Construction team to accelerate the deployment of OSP (Outside Plant) infrastructure across the country. The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Network Construction role is designed for fresh engineering graduates who are eager to dive into the world of telecom infrastructure. As a GET, you will be embedded in a cross‑functional team that includes planning, engineering, PMO, and construction. You will support OSP construction projects from site surveys to final handover, gaining hands‑on experience with engineering drawings, BOQs, project trackers, MIS dashboards, and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities (8‑10 points): 1. Assist in site surveys, project planning, and execution tracking for OSP infrastructure projects. 2. Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project execution. 3. Prepare project trackers, MIS reports, dashboards, and progress updates. 4. Identify and resolve project execution issues, risks, delays, and dependencies. 5. Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs to support project requirements. 6. Monitor project progress against milestones and flag deviations to the relevant teams. 7. Support documentation, review meetings, and closure of action items. 8. Participate in process improvement initiatives, method statements, and productivity enhancements. 9. Work across Construction, Planning, PMO, and Engineering functions to gain cross‑functional exposure. 10. Demonstrate willingness to work at project/site locations and undertake field exposure as required. Tech Stack & Tools: MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), basic CAD/AutoCAD for reading drawings, and familiarity with telecom OSP standards. Growth Path: Successful GETs can transition into OSP Engineer, Project Engineer, or PMO roles. With proven performance, opportunities to lead projects, manage teams, and specialize in 5G deployment or infrastructure optimization become available. Why Join: You will be part of a high‑impact team that shapes India’s digital future, receive structured training, mentorship from senior engineers, and exposure to cutting‑edge telecom technology. The role offers a clear career trajectory, competitive compensation, and the chance to work in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. This position is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about engineering, teamwork, and building large‑scale digital infrastructure.

What is the bias-variance tradeoff and how do you prevent overfitting? Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: High bias leads to underfitting (oversimplified model), high variance leads to overfitting (captures noise). Mitigate using L1/L2 Regularization, Dropout, Cross-Validation, and data augmentation.
Explain the difference between Precision, Recall, and F1-Score. Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: Precision = TP / (TP + FP) (correctness of positive predictions). Recall = TP / (TP + FN) (coverage of actual positives). F1-Score is the harmonic mean of Precision and Recall.
How does Gradient Descent work and what is the role of Learning Rate? Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: It optimizes loss functions by iteratively moving weights in the direction of negative gradient. A large learning rate may overshoot the minimum; a small rate causes slow convergence.
What is the difference between Supervised, Unsupervised, and Self-Supervised learning? Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: Supervised uses labeled data (X -> y). Unsupervised finds hidden patterns in unlabeled data (clustering/PCA). Self-supervised generates labels from input data (e.g. masked language modeling in BERT/Transformers).
