The role of Data Analyst β Tableau Developer is designed for recent graduates who have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for turning raw data into actionable insights. As a Tableau Developer, you will work closely with crossβfunctional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and senior data scientists, to understand reporting requirements and translate them into interactive dashboards and visualizations. You will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and modeling data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, and delivering insights that help drive strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for various business units.
2. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from relational databases, flat files, and APIs using SQL and data preparation tools.
3. Perform data validation and ensure accuracy of visualizations before deployment.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business logic, and translate them into technical specifications.
5. Optimize dashboard performance by implementing best practices in data modeling and query optimization.
6. Create documentation for data sources, data flow, and dashboard usage guidelines.
7. Provide endβuser training and support to ensure effective adoption of analytical solutions.
8. Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the teamβs knowledge base.
10. Assist in adβhoc data analysis tasks using Excel, Python or R as needed.
