Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Omega Healthcare Services is one of India’s leading healthcare outsourcing firms, catering to more than 150 US‑based health plans and hospitals. With a robust Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform, the company handles everything from patient registration to final claim settlement, helping clients improve cash flow and reduce denial rates. Established in 2005, Omega has grown rapidly across multiple geographies, leveraging technology, analytics, and a deep understanding of US payer guidelines. The Bangalore head office, located at Wind Tunnel Road, serves as a strategic hub for its RCM operations, offering a vibrant work environment that blends professional training with real‑world exposure.
The Mega Walk‑in Drive is designed exclusively for fresh graduates who are eager to start a career in the fast‑expanding healthcare BPO sector. Two primary tracks are available: an AR Executive role (voice‑process, night shift) and a Medical Coding/Billing role (non‑voice, day shift). Both positions provide on‑the‑job training, mentorship from seasoned RCM experts, and a clear growth trajectory within the organization. Candidates will work on US insurance claim resolution, ambulance billing, and payer re‑processing activities while sharpening their communication and analytical abilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Contact US insurance payers to resolve claim denials and non‑denials.
2. Review system dashboards for payments, adjustments, and self‑pay updates.
3. Identify, document, and escalate recurring claim trends.
4. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and issue logs.
5. Participate actively in RCM training sessions and knowledge‑sharing forums.
6. Resolve complex patient account issues and route non‑calling accounts to the analytical team.
7. Support payer‑level re‑processing activities and ensure compliance with US guidelines.
8. Perform ambulance billing tasks, ensuring accurate charge capture and claim submission.
9. Generate daily/weekly trend reports for management review.
**Tech Stack & Tools**: MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), proprietary RCM platforms, US payer portals (e.g., Change Healthcare, Availity), basic SQL for data extraction, and communication tools such as Teams/Zoom for voice interactions.
**Growth Path**: Freshers start as AR Executives or Coding Associates and can progress to Senior Executive, Team Lead, Operations Manager, and eventually to RCM Consultant or Business Analyst roles, depending on performance and additional certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS).
