Job Description & Key Responsibilities
CloudStuff, a fast‑growing digital marketing startup, helps brands amplify their online presence through strategic content distribution and link‑building campaigns. Founded in 2020, the company leverages data‑driven SEO techniques to secure high‑quality backlinks for clients across e‑commerce, SaaS, and education sectors. With a small but passionate team spread across India, CloudStuff emphasizes a collaborative culture where fresh ideas are welcomed and every intern gets exposure to real‑world client projects.
As an SEO Content Intern, you will be at the heart of the company’s outreach engine. You will research publishing opportunities, craft guest posts, and assist the senior SEO team in evaluating backlink prospects. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who love digging deep into niche topics, have a flair for writing, and are eager to learn the mechanics of off‑page SEO. You will work closely with the content, SEO, and client‑servicing teams, gaining hands‑on experience with industry‑standard tools and client communication.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Scan third‑party blogs, news sites, and niche communities to identify guest‑posting opportunities that match client verticals.
2. Evaluate each prospect based on relevance, domain authority, audience demographics, and basic SEO metrics.
3. Conduct competitor backlink analysis to uncover gaps and potential outreach targets.
4. Perform topic and audience research to propose content ideas that align with client goals.
5. Write original, SEO‑friendly guest articles, adapting tone and structure for each publication.
6. Coordinate with the SEO team to embed appropriate anchor texts and follow link‑building best practices.
7. Maintain a detailed spreadsheet of outreach activities, submission statuses, and performance metrics.
8. Learn to use Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz for backlink analysis and reporting.
9. Participate in weekly brainstorming sessions to refine outreach strategies.
10. Incorporate feedback from editors and senior SEO managers to improve content quality.
**Tech Stack & Tools**: Google Docs, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel/Sheets, Trello or Asana for task tracking.
**Growth Path**: Successful interns can transition to a full‑time SEO Content Executive role, later moving into SEO Strategist or Digital PR Manager positions as they master link‑building tactics and client handling.
**Why Join CloudStuff?** You will work on live client campaigns, receive mentorship from seasoned SEO professionals, and build a portfolio of published articles on reputable domains. The remote setup offers flexibility while still providing a structured learning environment, making it an excellent launchpad for a career in digital marketing and SEO.
