Kulfi is a fast‑growing digital‑experiences startup that helps couples stay connected through interactive games, shared playlists, and AI‑driven personalized activities. Launched in 2022, the platform now serves close to a million users across India and is backed by South Park Commons and founders with experience at Swiggy, Mosaic Wellness, Snitch, and Moonshot. The company’s mission is to turn moments of distance into moments of togetherness, and it is rapidly expanding its product suite with an AI‑powered personalization engine that tailors games to each couple’s preferences. The engineering team at Kulfi is small, high‑intensity, and product‑focused. Engineers are expected to own end‑to‑end features, iterate quickly based on user feedback, and ship code that reaches real users multiple times a week. The culture encourages learning, rapid experimentation, and transparent communication, with a strong emphasis on quality, testing, and thoughtful use of AI‑assisted coding tools. As a Software Engineer I – Product / Full‑Stack, you will work across Kulfi’s Flutter mobile app, web front‑end, backend APIs, and data layers. You will translate product and design specifications into reliable, user‑friendly features, write automated tests, debug issues across the stack, and continuously improve the overall user experience. The role is ideal for early‑career developers who enjoy building tangible products, learning new technologies on the job, and taking ownership of their work from concept to release. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and ship small‑to‑medium product features across mobile (Flutter), web, backend APIs, and databases. 2. Convert product and design briefs into complete user flows, handling loading, empty, error, and retry states. 3. Debug problems across client apps, network calls, backend services, and data stores. 4. Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; review your own code before merging. 5. Monitor feature performance using product metrics and user feedback; iterate to improve outcomes. 6. Use AI‑assisted coding tools responsibly, disclosing usage and validating final code. 7. Communicate blockers early, ask precise questions, and incorporate feedback from peers and founders. 8. Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to the team’s best‑practice guidelines. 9. Deploy updates to app stores and cloud environments, ensuring smooth releases. 10. Continuously explore and adopt new technologies that can accelerate development or enhance product quality. Tech Stack (useful but not mandatory): Flutter & Dart, state‑management libraries such as BLoC or Riverpod, RESTful APIs, SQL databases, backend languages like Node.js, Go, Python or Java, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), caching/queue systems, and AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.). Growth Path: Starting as a Software Engineer I, high performers can progress to Software Engineer II, then Senior Engineer, and eventually lead or product‑ownership roles. Kulfi’s flat structure and rapid product cycles provide ample opportunities to influence product direction, mentor newer hires, and earn equity through ESOPs. Why Join Kulfi? You will work on a consumer‑facing product that impacts millions of couples, gain full‑stack experience in a startup environment, and receive a competitive salary of up to ₹15 LPA plus equity. The role offers mentorship from seasoned founders, exposure to AI‑driven personalization, and the chance to shape a product from day one while growing your technical and product skills.

What is the difference between Implicit Wait, Explicit Wait, and Fluent Wait in Selenium? Answer ▼
Model Answer: Implicit Wait sets a global timeout for all element lookups. Explicit Wait pauses execution until a specific ExpectedCondition (e.g. elementToBeClickable) is met. Fluent Wait allows defining polling frequency and ignoring specific exceptions like NoSuchElementException.
Explain the Page Object Model (POM) and its advantages in Test Automation. Answer ▼
Model Answer: POM is a design pattern that creates an object repository for web UI elements. It separates test scripts from page locators, reducing code duplication and making maintenance easy when UI elements change.
How do you handle dynamic WebElements whose ID changes on page reload? Answer ▼
Model Answer: Use dynamic XPath methods like contains(), starts-with(), text(), or XPath axes (ancestor, following-sibling, parent) instead of brittle absolute paths.
What is the difference between @BeforeMethod and @BeforeClass in TestNG? Answer ▼
Model Answer: @BeforeClass runs once before the first test method in the current class, while @BeforeMethod executes before each individual test method.
How do you validate REST API response codes and JSON payload using Postman / RestAssured? Answer ▼
Model Answer: In RestAssured: given().when().get('/endpoint').then().assertThat().statusCode(200).body('status', equalTo('ACTIVE')).
