The role of Associate Analyst β Automation Testing in the Bengaluru office is designed for fresh graduates and earlyβcareer professionals (0β2 years of experience) who are passionate about software quality and test automation. As an Associate Analyst, you will be embedded within agile delivery teams, partnering closely with developers, business analysts and senior QA leads. You will contribute to the entire testing lifecycle β from understanding business requirements and designing test scenarios to building and maintaining automated test scripts, executing functional and regression suites, and tracking defects. The position offers handsβon exposure to industryβstandard tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Postman, REST Assured, and versionβcontrol systems like Git, as well as an opportunity to learn CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Analyzing functional specifications and translating them into detailed test cases.
2. Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java or Python.
3. Executing functional, regression, smoke and sanity tests across web and API layers.
4. Logging, tracking and verifying defects in collaboration with development teams.
5. Participating actively in Agile ceremonies β sprint planning, daily standβups, retrospectives.
6. Preparing test execution reports, metrics and documentation for stakeholder review.
7. Contributing to the evolution of the automation framework and suggesting process improvements.
8. Keeping abreast of emerging testing tools, frameworks and best practices.
9. Assisting in CI/CD integration of automated suites.
10. Supporting knowledgeβsharing sessions and mentorship of peers.
The technical stack revolves around Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), Java/Python programming, REST API testing with Postman or REST Assured, Git for source control, SQL for database validation, and Jenkins for build automation.
