You will work closely with senior cybersecurity engineers, auditors and business users, gaining hands‑on experience with a market‑leading PAM solution while developing a solid foundation in cybersecurity operations. Key responsibilities include: 1. Administer and maintain the CyberArk PAM environment – create and manage safes, platforms, and policies. 2. Monitor system health, performance metrics and alerts; respond promptly to incidents. 3. Provide first‑level support for password check‑outs, session recordings, and privileged account onboarding. 4. Assist in onboarding new privileged accounts, ensuring adherence to security standards. 5. Collaborate with the broader cybersecurity team to apply patches, upgrades and configuration changes. 6. Document standard operating procedures, system configurations and incident reports. 7. Support internal and external audit activities by supplying required evidence and documentation. 8. Stay updated with the latest CyberArk features, industry trends and security best practices. The technical stack revolves around CyberArk Privileged Access Security, Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, LDAP, and basic scripting for automation. EY offers a clear growth path – starting as an Operations Support Analyst, you can progress to Senior Analyst, PAM Engineer, and eventually to Manager or Architect roles within the cybersecurity practice. The exposure to large‑scale enterprise environments, audit processes and cross‑functional projects makes this role an excellent springboard for a long‑term career in information security. Why join EY? Apart from a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, EY invests heavily in learning – you will have access to EYU (EY University), certifications, mentorship programs and global mobility opportunities. Explain OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles with real-world examples in CyberArk. Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: 1. Encapsulation (data hiding via private fields/getters). 2. Abstraction (hiding implementation complexity). 3. Inheritance (code reusability). 4. Polymorphism (method overriding/overloading).
What is the time and space complexity of QuickSort vs MergeSort? Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: QuickSort: Average O(N log N) time, O(log N) space. Worst O(N^2). MergeSort: Guaranteed O(N log N) time, but requires O(N) auxiliary space.
Explain the difference between SQL Indexing (B-Tree vs Hash) and when not to use an index. Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: Indexes speed up SELECT queries via B-Trees. However, they slow down INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations because indexes must be updated on disk. Avoid on low-cardinality columns (e.g., boolean flags).
What happens under the hood when you enter a URL in a browser? Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: 1. DNS lookup (resolves IP). 2. TCP 3-way handshake (SYN, SYN-ACK, ACK). 3. TLS negotiation for HTTPS. 4. HTTP GET request sent. 5. Server responds with HTML/CSS/JS. 6. Browser renders DOM & CSSOM tree.
What is the difference between REST and GraphQL APIs? Answer β–Ό
Model Answer: REST uses multiple fixed endpoints with possible over/under-fetching. GraphQL uses a single endpoint allowing clients to query exact fields in a single request.
