Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related field (10+2 with minimum 60% aggregate). MBA in Finance is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience are eligible. No active backlogs at the time of application. Candidates from any graduating batch may apply.

The Assistant Analyst β ProcureβtoβPay (PTP) role sits within the Finance department of the GFSS team in Pune. Reporting to the Senior Analyst, the incumbent will support endβtoβend accounts payable processes for the EMEA region, handling invoice receipt, validation, posting and exception resolution. The position follows a hybrid work model, allowing a blend of onβsite collaboration and remote productivity. This is an ideal entry point for graduates in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or MBA, as well as candidates with up to three years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Process supplier invoices accurately in the ERP system.
2. Perform invoice indexing, document management and data entry.
3. Identify, investigate and resolve invoice exceptions and discrepancies.
4. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, internal policies and audit requirements.
5. Support monthβend and quarterβend closing activities for PTP transactions.
6. Maintain and monitor internal controls and governance standards.
7. Collaborate with global finance teams, procurement and business stakeholders to drive timely payments.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation projects.
9. Generate standard reports and dashboards for AP performance metrics.
10. Assist in adβhoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
The role primarily uses ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle R12 or MFGPRO, complemented by advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting. Exposure to global finance processes, crossβborder stakeholder management and structured accounting practices provides a solid foundation for a career in finance operations. Successful analysts can progress to Senior Analyst, Finance Lead or specialize in areas like Treasury, Controllership or Business Finance within Eatonβs expansive network.
