The corporate culture emphasizes continuous learning, diversity, and a collaborative environment where engineers are encouraged to experiment, share ideas, and drive real‑world impact.
The Associate Software Engineer role in Pune is tailored for fresh engineering graduates who have at least one year of hands‑on software development experience. The position is centered around building the next generation of enterprise‑grade mobile applications using React Native, JavaScript and TypeScript. Candidates will partner closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and senior engineers to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑performance mobile features. The role also involves code reviews, documentation, and contributing to the team’s continuous improvement initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, develop, and maintain React Native mobile applications for enterprise customers.
2. Implement reusable UI components, navigation flows, and state‑management solutions using Redux or similar libraries.
3. Integrate mobile front‑ends with RESTful APIs, handling JSON payloads and authentication mechanisms.
4. Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives – and deliver increments in two‑week sprints.
5. Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling to ensure app stability across Android and iOS platforms.
6. Review peer code, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior team members.
7. Document technical designs, API contracts, and deployment procedures.
8. Identify and resolve production issues, providing timely hot‑fixes and root‑cause analysis.
9. Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies, contributing ideas for architectural enhancements.
10. Support knowledge‑sharing sessions and internal workshops to uplift the engineering community.
**Tech Stack**: JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, Redux, REST APIs, JSON, Git, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines.
**Growth Path**: Starting as an Associate Engineer, high performers can progress to Software Engineer I, then to Senior Engineer, and eventually to Lead or Architecture roles within the mobile platform team. The company also offers cross‑functional mobility into cloud services, IoT, or product management tracks.
**Why Join Trane Technologies?** The firm offers a competitive compensation package, exposure to large‑scale enterprise projects, and a culture that values sustainability and innovation. Employees benefit from mentorship programs, regular technical talks, and a supportive work‑life balance that encourages personal growth alongside professional excellence.
