The Business Technology & Security division is the backbone that keeps Mindtickleโs internal operations smooth and secure. Within this division, the Business Systems team acts as the build engine, turning business requirements from GTM, Finance, People Success, IT, Legal and Security into reliable integrations, data pipelines, automation workflows and internal tools. As a Software Engineer in Business Systems, you will be the technical owner of endโtoโend solutions that connect critical systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, HRMS, Slack and Google Workspace. You will design, develop, ship, and maintain these solutions, ensuring they are robust, observable and scalable.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design and develop integrations between core business applications using Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks and eventโdriven architectures.
2. Build and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run) to enable seamless data flow across systems.
3. Automate manual processes for Finance, People Success, IT and GTM teams, reducing operational overhead.
4. Create lightweight internal tools and services that improve productivity for crossโfunctional stakeholders.
5. Own the production lifecycle of built solutions โ set up monitoring, alerts, incident response and write comprehensive runbooks.
6. Conduct technical feasibility studies, prototype vendor APIs and provide recommendations on buildโvsโbuy decisions.
7. Execute data migrations, field mapping and cutโover scripts when platforms are replaced or upgraded.
8. Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Business Systems Analysts to translate business problems into technical specifications.
9. Write unit, integration and endโtoโend tests to guarantee correctness and reliability of the solutions.
10. Document design decisions, architecture diagrams and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
**Tech Stack**
- Programming Language: Python (primary) with Google Apps Script for Workspace automation.
- Cloud: Google Cloud Platform โ Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine.
- Integration: REST, GraphQL, OAuth, serviceโaccount authentication, webhooks.
- Tools: Claude Code (AIโassisted coding), Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- Systems: Salesforce, NetSuite, HRMS, Slack, Google Workspace and other SaaS tools.
