The role of Software Engineer I β Power Apps sits within the Global Audit & Assurance Quality, Risk & Regulatory (GAA QRR) team. As an entryβlevel engineer, you will work closely with senior analysts to design, develop, and maintain solutions on Microsoft SharePoint Online and the Power Platform. Your dayβtoβday activities will involve building canvas and modelβdriven Power Apps, automating workflows with Power Automate, and integrating these solutions with SharePoint lists, libraries, and other data sources. You will also participate in testing cycles, prepare documentation, and support endβusers throughout the solution lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Designing and developing SharePoint Online sites, lists, and libraries tailored to business needs.
2. Building and customizing Power Apps (canvas, modelβdriven, and SharePoint forms) to streamline processes.
3. Creating automated workflows using Power Automate and troubleshooting any performance issues.
4. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
5. Conducting unit testing, preparing test cases, and supporting user acceptance testing.
6. Maintaining comprehensive documentation for designs, workflows, and user guides.
7. Assisting in data management activities, including permissions, data migration, and governance.
8. Supporting senior team members in endβtoβend project delivery and postβimplementation support.
9. Keeping abreast of the latest updates in the Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint ecosystem.
10. Contributing ideas for process improvement and automation across the GAA QRR function.
Tech stack: SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Canvas & Modelβdriven apps, JavaScript/React (optional), HTML, CSS, jQuery, REST APIs, Git, Azure AD for authentication.
