The role of Hyperion P&E Analyst β Functional Transformation is positioned within Deloitteβs Finance Transformation team. As an Analyst, you will design, develop, and implement Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions that support budgeting, planning, forecasting, and profitability analysis for large enterprises. You will work closely with client finance teams, technology specialists, and senior consultants to translate business requirements into robust, scalable cloud applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase, PBCS, EPBCS, and PCMCS solutions tailored to client needs.
- Gather functional and technical requirements, create detailed design documents, and define project deliverables.
- Develop custom cubes, business rules, forms, dashboards, and data integration scripts.
- Manage user provisioning, security configurations, and shared services administration.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Provide postβimplementation support (Hypercare) and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Collaborate with onβsite client teams and Deloitte delivery leads to ensure alignment and mitigate risks.
- Prepare technical documentation, training material, and knowledgeβtransfer sessions for endβusers.
- Identify opportunities for performance optimization, automation (EPM Automate), and solution enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle EPM cloud releases and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Tech Stack: Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Profitability & Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), EPM Automate, Groovy scripting, batch/shell scripting, and related reporting tools.
Growth Path: Starting as an Analyst, you can progress to Senior Analyst, Consultant, Manager, and eventually Senior Manager or Director within the Finance Transformation practice. Eligibility & process
Who can apply
β’ Minimum a CA, BE, BTech or equivalent degree from a recognized university. β’ 2+ years of handsβon experience with Oracle Planning (PBCS/EPBCS/PCMCS). β’ Proven experience in building custom cubes, business rules, dashboards, and data integration. β’ Strong analytical and problemβsolving abilities. β’ Excellent communication skills in English. β’ No active backlogs; graduation with at least 60% aggregate (or CGPA 6.5/10) preferred. β’ Willingness to work from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune or Chennai.
