Salesforce is the world’s #1 AI‑powered CRM platform, helping millions of customers across industries transform the way they work. Founded on the principles of cloud innovation, a pay‑as‑you‑go model, and a strong commitment to philanthropy, Salesforce has consistently been recognized as one of Forbes’ “World’s Most Innovative Companies” and Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For”. The company’s culture, known as Ohana, emphasizes trust, customer success, equality, and a relentless focus on learning and growth. With a global footprint and a fast‑moving product portfolio that includes Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, and Public Sector Cloud, Salesforce offers fresh talent the chance to work on cutting‑edge solutions that impact real businesses. The Summer 2027 UI/UX Design Internship is a six‑month, full‑time program based in Hyderabad and Bangalore. As an intern, you will join the Design and User Experience team that sits at the heart of product development. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketers to translate complex industry problems into intuitive, beautiful digital experiences across web, mobile, and tablet platforms. The role is ideal for M.Des students graduating in 2027 who are passionate about human‑centered design, have a keen eye for detail, and love experimenting with the latest design tools and AI‑assisted workflows. Key Responsibilities: 1. Influence and clearly communicate the industry‑specific vision to stakeholders across design, product, engineering, and marketing. 2. Solve complex UX challenges for web, mobile, and tablet applications, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups. 3. Partner with product owners to identify new feature opportunities and validate assumptions through user research and testing. 4. Work closely with engineers to ensure design intent is faithfully implemented and iterate based on feedback. 5. Champion a design‑thinking culture, promoting best practices, design systems, and innovative tooling. 6. Own end‑to‑end design of selected interfaces, from discovery to delivery. 7. Collaborate with QA teams to deliver polished, bug‑free products. 8. Evangelize new interface guidelines and emerging design patterns within the team. 9. Experiment with large language model (LLM) coding assistants and agentic tools to accelerate design workflows. 10. Contribute to documentation and design system updates to maintain consistency across products. Tech Stack & Tools: Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, InVision, LLM‑based design assistants (e.g., Gemini, Cursor), Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence), and basic prototyping code (HTML/CSS/JS) for rapid validation. Growth Path: Successful interns may receive a full‑time offer to join Salesforce’s Product Design organization, where career progression includes roles such as Associate Designer, Product Designer, Senior Designer, and Design Lead, with opportunities to work on global product lines and lead cross‑functional teams. Why Join Salesforce? You will be part of a globally recognized leader that invests heavily in employee development, mentorship, and cutting‑edge technology. The internship provides real impact, direct exposure to senior executives, and a supportive environment that values creativity, diversity, and continuous learning. This is a unique chance to build a strong portfolio while contributing to products that shape the future of enterprise software.

What is the bias-variance tradeoff and how do you prevent overfitting? Answer ▼
Model Answer: High bias leads to underfitting (oversimplified model), high variance leads to overfitting (captures noise). Mitigate using L1/L2 Regularization, Dropout, Cross-Validation, and data augmentation.
Explain the difference between Precision, Recall, and F1-Score. Answer ▼
Model Answer: Precision = TP / (TP + FP) (correctness of positive predictions). Recall = TP / (TP + FN) (coverage of actual positives). F1-Score is the harmonic mean of Precision and Recall.
How does Gradient Descent work and what is the role of Learning Rate? Answer ▼
Model Answer: It optimizes loss functions by iteratively moving weights in the direction of negative gradient. A large learning rate may overshoot the minimum; a small rate causes slow convergence.
What is the difference between Supervised, Unsupervised, and Self-Supervised learning? Answer ▼
Model Answer: Supervised uses labeled data (X -> y). Unsupervised finds hidden patterns in unlabeled data (clustering/PCA). Self-supervised generates labels from input data (e.g. masked language modeling in BERT/Transformers).
