
Eligibility Criteria
Full‑time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (EEE or ECE) from an AICTE‑approved or government‑accredited university. Minimum aggregate of 70% or 7.0 CGPA (preferred). Graduation year 2025 or 2026. No active backlogs at the time of application. Must be willing to travel and work under minimal supervision.

The Early Career Trainee – Service program is a one‑year intensive grooming track aimed at building a strong pipeline of Field Service Engineers. Trainees will rotate through core service functions, receive hands‑on training on multi‑modality imaging equipment, and learn the end‑to‑end service lifecycle from preventive maintenance to complex fault resolution. The program emphasizes gender balance, technical excellence, and leadership development, preparing participants for a long‑term career in GE HealthCare’s service ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and calibrate models of Multi‑Modality Imaging Equipment in the assigned region.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex multi‑symptom system issues at the hardware and software levels.
3. Complete all administrative tasks, including FMIs and PMS documentation, within stipulated timelines.
4. Generate accurate service reports and update the service management system.
5. Collaborate with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to resolve escalated problems.
6. Build and nurture strong relationships with hospital customers, acting as the primary interface.
7. Participate in on‑site installations, upgrades, and validation activities.
8. Contribute to knowledge‑base articles and standard operating procedures.
9. Travel to customer sites across Madhya Pradesh and occasionally to other regions as required.
10. Continuously upgrade technical knowledge through internal training modules and certifications.
Tech Stack: Imaging equipment firmware, GE ServiceMax, basic networking (TCP/IP), PLC basics, Windows/Linux OS, diagnostic tools, and preventive maintenance software.
Growth Path: Successful trainees are typically absorbed as Field Service Engineers, with opportunities to specialize in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine. Over 3‑5 years, high performers can progress to Senior Engineer, Service Team Lead, or Regional Service Manager roles.
