The Associate Software Engineer role is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to dive into realβworld software development. Under close supervision, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications that support Cargillβs global operations. Your work will involve writing clean, efficient code, automating deployment pipelines, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to deliver features that meet business and cybersecurity requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Writing maintainable, scalable code in languages such as Java or Python.
2. Participating in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
3. Automating build, test, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
4. Writing unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
5. Debugging production issues and providing timely support.
6. Documenting application architecture, deployment steps, and configuration details.
7. Collaborating with crossβfunctional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
8. Suggesting improvements to development and deployment workflows.
9. Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
10. Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal tools and processes.
Tech stack: Java/Python, SQL, RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
