The role of a BI Engineering Associate sits within Accentureβs Reinvention Deployment Engineering (RDE) practice, which accelerates delivery of engineering and R&D solutions by marrying human expertise with AIβdriven agents. As a member of the RDEβAnalytics team, you will be responsible for designing, building, optimizing and governing dashboards, executive scorecards, selfβservice reports and dataβstorytelling solutions for Accentureβs Operations clients. The position is ideal for fresh graduates or earlyβcareer professionals with a passion for data visualization and a willingness to learn modern analytics platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards, incorporating DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
2. Create Tableau visualisations where required, supporting executiveβlevel storytelling.
3. Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, validation and transformation.
4. Participate in dimensional modelling and ETL design, ensuring data quality and consistency.
5. Implement rowβlevel security and performance tuning to meet enterprise governance standards.
6. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
7. Maintain documentation such as data dictionaries, test evidence and user feedback logs.
8. Monitor dashboard refresh cycles, troubleshoot defects and support productionβlevel reporting.
9. Assist in the migration of analytics workloads to modern platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PODβbased delivery model.
Tech stack: Power BI (primary), Tableau, SQL, DAX, Power Query, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, ETL tools, dimensional modelling concepts.
