The Operations Associate (Australia Region) role sits at the heart of Amberβs sales engine for the Australian market. Reporting to the Regional Sales Lead, the associate will be responsible for converting inbound leads into confirmed bookings, acting as the primary point of contact for prospective students. The role blends proactive outreach, deep market knowledge, and meticulous data management to ensure a frictionless booking journey. Working remotely with flexible shift timings, the associate will collaborate closely with Marketing and Supply teams to fineβtune the funnel and improve conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactively engage inbound leads via phone, email, and chat, guiding them through the endβtoβend booking process.
2. Understand each studentβs unique requirementsβbudget, location, amenitiesβand provide personalized accommodation recommendations.
3. Build and maintain an inβdepth knowledge base of Australian student housing options, pricing structures, and university proximity.
4. Record every interaction, inquiry, and booking detail accurately in the CRM system.
5. Conduct timely followβups to nurture leads, address objections, and move prospects toward closure.
6. Meet and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
7. Collaborate with Marketing to relay market feedback and help craft targeted campaigns.
8. Work with the Supply team to ensure inventory availability and resolve any booking discrepancies.
9. Participate in regular performance reviews and share best practices with the team.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting student housing.
Tech Stack & Tools: CRM platforms (HubSpot/Salesforce), Google Workspace, Zoom/Google Meet for virtual tours, Excel/Google Sheets for reporting, and internal knowledgeβbase tools.
Growth Path: High performers can progress to Senior Operations Associate, Team Lead, and eventually Regional Sales Manager, with exposure to crossβfunctional projects and leadership development programs.
