The Apprentice β Seller Onboarding role is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to dive into the fastβpaced world of eβcommerce operations. As an apprentice, you will be the first point of contact for new sellers joining the platform, guiding them through the endβtoβend onboarding journey. You will work closely with crossβfunctional teams such as Category, Catalog, and Business Intelligence to ensure that sellers are set up correctly, compliant with regulations, and ready to list their products.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Communicate with sellers/vendors via phone, email, and chat to gather required documentation and answer queries.
2. Manage Vendor Master data, ensuring all onboarding requests are processed within the agreed turnaround time.
3. Conduct KYC verification and ensure compliance with GST and commission structures.
4. Resolve escalations by coordinating with internal stakeholders and thirdβparty partners.
5. Track and report daily onboarding metrics using basic MIS in Excel.
6. Educate sellers on platform policies, commission models, and cataloging guidelines.
7. Collaborate with Category and Catalog teams to address product listing issues.
8. Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements for a smoother onboarding flow.
9. Maintain a log of seller interactions and update the CRM system regularly.
10. Participate in weekly syncβups to share insights and best practices.
**Tech Stack & Tools**: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), basic CRM tools, email clients, and internal vendor management portals. No deep programming knowledge is required, but familiarity with spreadsheets and data analysis is essential.
**Growth Path**: Successful apprentices can transition to fullβtime roles such as Vendor Operations Analyst, Category Associate, or Business Analyst, with opportunities to move into product management or strategy functions as they gain experience.
