The Business Services Analyst I role is an entryβlevel position designed for recent graduates with a keen interest in compliance, antiβmoneyβlaundering (AML) processes, and international trade controls. Key responsibilities include:
1. Executing regular AML and International Trade Control (ITC) screening and alert handling processes.
2. Conducting thorough research, verification, and analysis of flagged transactions to determine appropriate actions.
3. Maintaining high standards of quality and control to meet stringent regulatory requirements.
4. Coordinating with the Compliance team to report potential breaches and suspicious activities.
5. Performing quality assurance checks and monitoring to ensure process adherence.
6. Documenting findings and preparing concise reports for senior stakeholders.
7. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
8. Assisting in the development and maintenance of AML/ITC policies and procedures.

The tech stack primarily involves advanced usage of MS Excel, SQL for data extraction, and specialized AML screening tools. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
