The role of Consultant – OCI Process Automation is positioned within Deloitte’s technology consulting practice, specifically targeting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and automation initiatives. The selected candidate will work as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and will be responsible for building robust automated test frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of OCI‑based solutions and Power BI dashboards. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Hyderabad or Bengaluru, with a five‑day office schedule, and is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to start their career in a high‑impact consulting environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and maintain Selenium‑based UI automation scripts for Power BI dashboards using Java. 2. Create API automation suites with RestAssured to validate backend services. 3. Write and optimize SQL/Oracle queries for data validation and performance testing. 4. Collaborate with development and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios. 5. Identify, log, and track defects using Jira or similar tools, and work closely with developers for timely resolution. 6. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. 7. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps. 8. Contribute to the creation of test documentation, test plans, and test summary reports. 9. Stay updated with emerging testing tools and technologies, recommending improvements to the test framework. 10. Assist in knowledge‑sharing sessions and mentor junior team members as the team scales.
