As a Systems/Software Engineer I in the QA & Networking team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and performance of HPEβs software offerings. This hybrid role blends handsβon testing with exposure to networking protocols, allowing fresh graduates and earlyβcareer professionals to build a solid foundation in quality engineering while collaborating with seasoned developers and product managers. You will design test scenarios, automate repetitive tasks, and contribute to the overall quality strategy for enterpriseβgrade solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and test data sets.
2. Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing across multiple platforms.
3. Identify, log, and track defects using industryβstandard defect management tools.
4. Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
5. Participate in requirement and design reviews to improve test coverage and early defect detection.
6. Contribute to test automation initiatives using frameworks such as Selenium, RestAssured or similar.
7. Validate API endpoints and UI components, ensuring adherence to performance benchmarks.
8. Assist in creating and maintaining quality metrics and release validation reports.
9. Support crossβfunctional teams, including external partners, during testing cycles.
10. Continuously explore and suggest improvements to QA processes and tooling.
**Tech Stack & Tools**: Manual testing, Selenium/WebDriver, RestAssured or Postman for API testing, Git for version control, Jenkins or similar CI/CD pipelines, basic networking knowledge (CCNA level), Linux/Windows environments, and exposure to Generative AI tools for test data generation.
**Growth Path**: Starting as an Engineer I, you can progress to Engineer II, Senior QA Engineer, QA Lead, and eventually into specialized roles such as Automation Architect or Product Quality Manager.
