The role of a Software/Application/Cloud Tech Support Associate is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to start their career in IT services. As a member of the Service Desk team, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external users facing technical issues. You will develop a deep understanding of production systems, incident management processes, and disasterβrecovery procedures while honing your problemβsolving and communication skills. The position offers a structured learning path, mentorship from senior engineers, and exposure to a variety of technologies used across Accentureβs client landscape.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Monitor and respond to incidents and service requests raised through the ticketing system.
2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues within defined SLAs.
3. Escalate complex problems to higherβlevel support teams while ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
4. Participate in rootβcause analysis and contribute to knowledgeβbase articles.
5. Assist in the implementation and testing of disasterβrecovery and businessβcontinuity plans.
6. Enforce dataβretention policies and ensure compliance with security standards.
7. Collaborate with crossβfunctional teams to improve serviceβdesk processes and automation.
8. Provide timely status updates to users and management during major incidents.
9. Conduct basic system health checks and preventive maintenance activities.
10. Support onboarding and offβboarding activities for user accounts and devices.
**Tech Stack**: Windows/Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools, basic cloud concepts (AWS, Azure), networking fundamentals, remote desktop utilities, and scripting basics (PowerShell/Bash).
**Growth Path**: Successful associates can progress to Senior Analyst β Service Desk, then to Service Delivery Manager or specialize in Cloud Operations, Cybersecurity, or Application Management.
