The role of Associate Business Solution Designer sits at the intersection of business analysis and solution engineering. As a junior designer, you will work closely with senior consultants, product owners, and development teams to translate business problems into scalable digital solutions. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, creating functional specifications, and ensuring that the proposed architecture aligns with both user expectations and technical constraints.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
2. Develop highβlevel solution designs, process flows, and data models.
3. Conduct feasibility studies and identify quickβwin opportunities.
4. Collaborate with developers to ensure design intent is correctly implemented.
5. Perform gap analysis between current state and target solution.
6. Create user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile sprints.
7. Validate solutions against quality standards, security policies, and compliance guidelines.
8. Participate in client workshops, demos, and review meetings.
9. Assist in preparing functional and technical documentation.
10. Support postβimplementation monitoring and continuous improvement.
The typical tech stack for this role includes BPMN tools, UML modeling, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and lowβcode platforms such as Appian or Mendix. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and basic scripting (Python/JavaScript) is advantageous.
