Eligibility Criteria
Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA or Engineering (any branch). Recent graduates or finalâyear students (batch 2025â2026) preferred. The Apprentice Software Engineer role is a 12âmonth paid apprenticeship designed for recent graduates or finalâyear students eager to launch a career in fullâstack software engineering. Apprentices will be embedded within a crossâfunctional squad of senior engineers, product managers and QA specialists, gaining handsâon experience across the entire product lifecycle â from UI design in Angular to backend services in .NET/C#, REST API development, SQL query optimisation, and cloud deployment on Microsoft Azure. The program emphasizes learning by doing, with mentorship, code reviews, and regular sprint ceremonies that mirror industryâstandard Agile practices.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Assist in designing and building responsive web interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
2. Develop, test and maintain .NET/C# backend services and RESTful APIs.
3. Write clean, modular, and wellâdocumented code following industry best practices.
4. Craft efficient SQL queries for SQL Server, Snowflake and PostgreSQL, focusing on performance and scalability.
5. Debug and resolve issues across the frontend, backend and database layers using systematic rootâcause analysis.
6. Participate in building and monitoring data pipelines and analytics workflows on Azure Functions and AKS.
7. Contribute to unit and integration test suites to ensure code quality.
8. Collaborate in Agile ceremonies â sprint planning, daily standâups, retrospectives and code reviews.
9. Support the creation of intelligent insights for category planning using Pythonâbased data processing and emerging Generative AI tools.
10. Document technical decisions and share knowledge with the wider team.
