The Software Engineer Trainee role is a 6βmonth internship that blends handsβon coding with exposure to real customer projects and core product development. As a trainee, you will start as a generalist coder, learning to build backend services, APIs, and automated test frameworks. Depending on your strengths and team needs, you will be placed on either the Customer Engineering trackβwhere youβll design integrations, model data, and deliver solutions for clientsβor the SDET track, focusing on building robust test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Writing clean, maintainable Python code for backend services.
2. Developing RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
3. Designing and querying MongoDB and SQL databases.
4. Implementing automated tests with Selenium, Pytest, or Locust.
5. Participating in code reviews and unit/integration testing.
6. Collaborating with crossβfunctional teams on feature design.
7. Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
8. Documenting APIs and internal processes.
9. Troubleshooting production issues and providing timely fixes.
10. Continuously learning new tools and technologies.
The tech stack youβll work with includes Python, FastAPI, MongoDB, SQL, Selenium, Pytest, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
