β’ Minimum 10th, 12th and Graduation (B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication or related streams.
β’ Graduation batch 2025, 2026 or 2027 (freshers only).
β’ Minimum CGPA/percentage 6.5/65% in the final year.
β’ No active backlogs at the time of joining.
β’ Strong foundation in programming, data structures and algorithms.
β’ Good communication skills in English.
β’ Eligible to work in India without sponsorship.

The role of Associate Engineer sits within the Networks division, specifically in the Pritech campus in Bengaluru. As a junior member of the telecom technology and digital engineering team, you will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of software that powers BTβs core network services. You will work alongside senior engineers, product managers and operations teams in an agile environment, gaining handsβon exposure to realβworld telecom challenges while sharpening your coding and problemβsolving abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Designing, coding and testing Java/Python modules that support network monitoring and automation.
2. Enhancing existing applications to improve reliability, security and performance.
3. Collaborating with crossβfunctional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
4. Writing efficient SQL queries and maintaining relational database schemas.
5. Using Git for version control, code reviews and continuous integration.
6. Participating in daily standβups, sprint planning and retrospectives within an agile framework.
7. Debugging production issues, performing rootβcause analysis and implementing fixes.
8. Documenting code, APIs and system architecture for knowledge sharing.
9. Staying updated with emerging technologies such as containerisation, microβservices and cloud platforms.
10. Contributing ideas for process improvements, automation scripts and tooling enhancements.
The tech stack revolves around Java, Python, SQL, Git, Linux and basic cloud concepts.
