The role of Senior Manager β Product Analytics (listed as Business Analyst) is central to turning the wealth of data into actionable business outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Product, the incumbent will partner with product managers, data engineers, sales, and operations to surface insights that drive product enhancements, improve advertiser ROI, and accelerate growth. The position demands a blend of strong analytical rigor, storytelling ability, and a deep understanding of digital marketing metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and BI reports for core product and revenue metrics.
2. Write complex, performanceβoptimized SQL queries to extract insights from largeβscale datasets.
3. Conduct funnel analysis, retention studies, and featureβadoption tracking to uncover growth levers.
4. Lead A/B testing, cohort analysis, and segmentation studies to evaluate product and campaign impact.
5. Monitor and optimize key digital marketing KPIs such as CAC, ROI, CTR, and conversion rates.
6. Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks and deliver clear recommendations.
7. Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data quality, pipeline reliability, and schema evolution.
8. Mentor junior analysts and foster a dataβfirst culture within the product team.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends in AdTech, MarTech, and analytics tools to continuously improve methodologies.
10. Present findings to senior leadership with compelling visualizations and narratives.
Tech Stack & Tools: Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL/Presto), BI platforms (Superset, Tableau, Powerβ―BI, Looker), Python/R for statistical analysis, A/B testing frameworks, Google Ads & Meta Ads Manager, Git for version control, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery).
Growth Path: Successful analysts can progress to Product Analytics Lead, then to Head of Analytics or Product Management roles, with exposure to crossβfunctional leadership and strategic decisionβmaking.
