
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or Information Systems. Minimum aggregate of 60% (or CGPA 6.0/10). Final year students graduating in 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible. No active backlogs at the time of joining; a maximum of one backlog allowed in the previous semester, provided it is cleared before the joining date.

The role of Application Software Engineer 1 sits within Oracleโs Software Engineering division, focusing on building and enhancing enterprise applications that support critical business processes. Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and enhance existing software applications using Java, Python, or C++.
2. Create and optimize SQL/PLโSQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
3. Participate in requirementโgathering sessions, estimate effort, and plan deliverables.
4. Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and maintain version control using Git.
5. Debug production issues, perform rootโcause analysis, and document resolutions.

7. Contribute to componentโlevel design discussions and suggest architectural improvements.
8. Support software release cycles, including packaging and deployment activities.
