The Associate Engineer role in Bangalore is designed for fresh talent with 2+ years of backend Python experience. The position sits within the CloudβNative Services team and works on building, scaling, and maintaining microβservice based applications that power BTβs privateβcloud orchestration layer. **Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django or Flask.
2. Implement cloudβnative services that run on privateβcloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
3. Automate deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools and integrate them with Git workflows.
4. Collaborate with crossβfunctional teams to translate telecom requirements (OSS/BSS, provisioning) into software solutions.
5. Write unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality and reliability.
6. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
7. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack, from code to infrastructure.
8. Develop automation scripts using Ansible, Napalm or Nornir for network configuration tasks.
9. Document technical designs, APIs, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
10. Continuously explore emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and developer productivity.
