Kulfi is an emerging consumer‑technology startup that focuses on creating delightful digital experiences for couples. Founded by a team of passionate engineers and designers, the company aims to simplify everyday moments through intuitive mobile and web products. Operating out of Jayanagar, Bengaluru, Kulfi blends a fast‑moving startup culture with a clear product vision, allowing its engineers to see the impact of their work directly on real users. The firm values creativity, ownership, and a data‑driven approach to building features that enhance relationship dynamics. As a Software Engineer I – Product / Full‑Stack, you will be at the heart of Kulfi’s product development lifecycle. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to translate user stories into functional, high‑quality code across mobile, web, and backend layers. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who have built at least one end‑to‑end software project and are eager to deepen their full‑stack expertise in a real‑world environment. Key responsibilities include: 1. Design, develop, and ship features for Flutter‑based mobile apps and React/web front‑ends. 2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and server‑side logic using Python, Node.js, Java or Go. 3. Write clean, testable code and contribute to code reviews to uphold quality standards. 4. Debug and resolve issues across the UI, API, and database layers. 5. Optimize application performance and improve user experience based on analytics. 6. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements and delivery timelines. 7. Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools responsibly to boost productivity. 8. Own feature development from concept through deployment and post‑release monitoring. 9. Contribute to documentation, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines. 10. Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and knowledge‑sharing sessions. The tech stack revolves around Flutter & Dart for mobile, JavaScript/TypeScript with React for web, and backend services built in Python, Node.js, Java or Go. SQL databases and Git/GitHub form the foundation for data persistence and version control. Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Codex is considered a plus. Growth at Kulfi is fast‑tracked: junior engineers quickly gain exposure to end‑to‑end product cycles, mentorship from senior architects, and opportunities to lead small feature teams. High performers can progress to Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or Product Engineering Manager roles within a few years, with ESOPs providing a stake in the company’s success. Why join Kulfi? You will work on a product that directly touches people’s lives, receive mentorship in a supportive startup environment, and benefit from a competitive CTC of ₹9–15 LPA plus equity. The on‑site Bengaluru office offers a collaborative space, regular tech talks, and a culture that celebrates learning and innovation.

What is the difference between WHERE and HAVING clauses in SQL? Answer ▼
Model Answer: WHERE filters rows before any groupings are applied, while HAVING filters aggregated groups after GROUP BY has executed.
Explain SQL Window functions: ROW_NUMBER(), RANK(), and DENSE_RANK(). Answer ▼
Model Answer: ROW_NUMBER() assigns unique sequential integers. RANK() assigns identical ranks to ties and skips ranks. DENSE_RANK() assigns identical ranks to ties without skipping rank numbers.
How do you handle NULL and missing values during data cleaning in Python/Pandas? Answer ▼
Model Answer: Use .isna().sum() to identify missing values. Impute with mean/median using .fillna() or remove with .dropna(subset=[...]) depending on variance impact.
What is the difference between Star Schema and Snowflake Schema in Data Warehousing? Answer ▼
Model Answer: Star Schema has denormalized dimension tables directly connected to the central Fact table. Snowflake Schema normalizes dimension tables into sub-dimensions to minimize redundancy.
How do you calculate MoM (Month-over-Month) growth in SQL? Answer ▼
Model Answer: Use LAG(revenue, 1) OVER (ORDER BY month) to fetch the previous month's revenue and compute (revenue - prev_revenue) / prev_revenue * 100.
