AI Engineering Intern
eTeam
About the role
eTeam is a fastβgrowing technology services firm headquartered in Noida, India. Over the past few years, the company has built a reputation for delivering cuttingβedge solutions in cloud, data engineering, and artificial intelligence to a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from startups to Fortuneβ500 enterprises. The organization prides itself on a collaborative culture where engineers are encouraged to experiment, learn, and bring innovative ideas to production quickly.
With a strong focus on AIβdriven products, eTeam invests heavily in research labs and partners with leading LLM providers to stay ahead of the generative AI curve.
The AI Engineering Intern role is designed for fresh graduates of the 2026 and 2027 batches who are passionate about building endβtoβend AI solutions. Interns will work directly under senior AI engineers and product managers, gaining handsβon experience in designing, prototyping, and deploying AI workflows that leverage large language models (LLMs). The stint lasts for six months and offers a performanceβbased preβplacement offer (PPO) for highβachieving candidates, making it an ideal launchpad for a career in generative AI.
Key responsibilities include
- Designing and implementing AI workflows powered by LLMs such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, or Mistral.
- Crafting effective prompts and retrievalβaugmented generation (RAG) pipelines to improve answer relevance.
- Building autonomous AI agents and automation scripts using platforms like Dify.ai.
- Developing rapid prototypes with lowβcode tools such as Cursor or Windsurf.
- Integrating external APIs and vector databases (e.g., ChromaDB, Pinecone) into production pipelines.
- Conducting research on emerging AI models, frameworks, and best practices.
- Writing clean, modular Python code and maintaining version control.
- Collaborating with crossβfunctional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Documenting workflows, experiment results, and knowledgeβbase articles for internal use.
- Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and demo sessions.
The tech stack revolves around Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face libraries, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Interns will also get exposure to vector stores like ChromaDB and cloud services for model hosting. Successful completion of the internship can lead to a fullβtime role as a Machine Learning Engineer, with clear growth paths into senior AI architect or product lead positions.
Joining eTeam offers the chance to work on realβworld AI products, learn from seasoned mentors, and be part of a vibrant community that values continuous learning and innovation.
