The Software Engineer – Python AI Apprentice role is designed for recent graduates or final‑year students with a passion for artificial intelligence and a solid foundation in Python. As an apprentice, you will be embedded in CGI’s AI and Automation team, contributing to real‑world projects that span data pipelines, machine learning models, and generative AI applications. You will develop Python scripts, build APIs, and collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain Python‑based applications and automation scripts.
2. Assist in building and fine‑tuning machine learning and generative AI models.

5. Develop and integrate APIs for AI‑enabled services.

7. Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimisation of Python code.
