As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with development teams, business analysts, and product owners to design, execute, and automate test cases across the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, as well as contributing to the development of test frameworks and continuous integration pipelines. Key responsibilities: 1. Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing applications. 2. Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. 3. Collaborate with developers to identify defects and verify fixes. 4. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives. 5. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. 6. Document test results and prepare detailed defect reports. 7. Work with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into testable scenarios. 8. Continuously improve testing processes and best practices. 9. Mentor junior team members and share knowledge. 10. Stay updated on industry trends in testing, automation, and quality assurance. Tech stack: Java, .Net, Python, SQL, Oracle, Teradata, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
