Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Position: Technical Expert MSSQL Location: Gurgaon, India Employment Type: Full-time, On-site Experience: 4-8 years (experience in a similar organization not necessary ) Education: Masters/ Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline from a premier academic institution (Bachelors degree may be considered for exceptional in terms of experience & expertise candidates). MarkeTopper Securities: We are pioneers of Quantitative trading in India. By combining financial market research with Mathematics and advanced computation we develop and implement trading systems that have enabled us to consistently generate superior risk adjusted returns for more than two decades. Role: Analyse current database structure and identify data redundancy and design issues. Redesign tables, indexes, triggers, users to support multiple concurrent users processing heavy volumes of data Understand code written in stored procedures (MSSQL) and make changes or rewrite to reduce processing time. Create user roles and access to ensure multiple users use database efficiently. Experience/Skills: Proven experience in solving complex business problems involving huge data volumes Hands-on experience of implementing optimization techniques, identifying cause of performance issues and best practices of writing optimized queries. Implementation experience of database structures, stored procedures, and complex queries supporting multiple concurrent users. Ability to understand existing code developed using database technologies (MSSQL stored procedures) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
