Frugality Fintech is a fastโ€‘growing financial technology startup that leverages artificial intelligence to deliver intelligent financial recommendations, transaction analytics, and endโ€‘toโ€‘end dataโ€‘driven automation for its users. Founded by a team of engineers and finance professionals, the company has quickly scaled its product suite across multiple Indian cities, focusing on building a robust data platform that powers personalized insights for millions of customers. The culture at Frugality Fintech is highly collaborative, dataโ€‘centric, and innovationโ€‘driven, encouraging interns to take ownership of real business problems from day one. The AI/ML & Data Analyst Internship is designed for fresh graduates and finalโ€‘year students who want to gain handsโ€‘on experience across the entire data lifecycle. Interns will work directly with senior data scientists, product managers, and engineers on live projects that involve large, noisy datasets, predictive modeling, and automation of routine analytics workflows. This is not a dashboardโ€‘only role; you will be expected to design, develop, and deploy endโ€‘toโ€‘end AI solutions that directly impact product decisions and user experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify highโ€‘impact business problems where AI/ML can add value and propose solution frameworks. 2. Collect, clean, and preprocess raw financial and transactional data from multiple sources. 3. Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. 4. Build and evaluate machineโ€‘learning models for tasks such as churn prediction, fraud detection, and recommendation scoring. 5. Develop automated data pipelines using Python and SQL to ensure reliable data flow. 6. Create interactive visualizations and reports for stakeholders using Tableau or Powerโ€ฏBI. 7. Collaborate with product teams to translate model outputs into product features and userโ€‘facing insights. 8. Document code, methodology, and findings to maintain reproducibility and knowledge sharing. 9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the teamโ€™s bestโ€‘practice guidelines. 10. Stay updated with the latest AI/ML research and suggest innovative techniques for continuous improvement. Tech Stack: Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikitโ€‘learn), SQL, Tableau/Powerโ€ฏBI, Git, AWS (S3, Lambda), Jupyter notebooks, and basic knowledge of deepโ€‘learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus. Growth Path: Successful interns may receive a fullโ€‘time offer as Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer, with clear mentorship, skillโ€‘upgradation programs, and exposure to productโ€‘level decision making. Why Join Frugality Fintech? You will work on realโ€‘world financial data, see the impact of your models in a live product, and be mentored by industry experts. The internship offers a blend of technical depth and business exposure, making it an ideal launchpad for a career in data science and AI within the fintech ecosystem.

What is the difference between WHERE and HAVING clauses in SQL? Answer โ–ผ
Model Answer: WHERE filters rows before any groupings are applied, while HAVING filters aggregated groups after GROUP BY has executed.
Explain SQL Window functions: ROW_NUMBER(), RANK(), and DENSE_RANK(). Answer โ–ผ
Model Answer: ROW_NUMBER() assigns unique sequential integers. RANK() assigns identical ranks to ties and skips ranks. DENSE_RANK() assigns identical ranks to ties without skipping rank numbers.
How do you handle NULL and missing values during data cleaning in Python/Pandas? Answer โ–ผ
Model Answer: Use .isna().sum() to identify missing values. Impute with mean/median using .fillna() or remove with .dropna(subset=[...]) depending on variance impact.
What is the difference between Star Schema and Snowflake Schema in Data Warehousing? Answer โ–ผ
Model Answer: Star Schema has denormalized dimension tables directly connected to the central Fact table. Snowflake Schema normalizes dimension tables into sub-dimensions to minimize redundancy.
How do you calculate MoM (Month-over-Month) growth in SQL? Answer โ–ผ
Model Answer: Use LAG(revenue, 1) OVER (ORDER BY month) to fetch the previous month's revenue and compute (revenue - prev_revenue) / prev_revenue * 100.
