Design, build and maintain scalable, secure REST APIs and backend services in PHP Optimize MySQL schemas, indexes and slow queries for high-volume workloads Build and manage async workflows using queues and event-driven patterns (SQS/SNS) Deploy and monitor services on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) Own production reliability: debugging, incident response and performance tuning Review code, mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture decisions Write testable, well-documented code and maintain CI/CD best practices
