About the Role
We are looking for a UI Developer (SDE-1) to design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should be able to independently own feature development and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.
Develop applications using JavaScript and TypeScript following engineering best practices. Integrate and consume backend REST APIs, including data handling and error management. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Translate business requirements into technical implementations. Optimize application performance, bundle size, and page load times. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
Write unit tests and participate in peer code reviews. Follow coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and security best practices. Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and sprint execution.
Contribute to frontend architecture discussions and technical decisions. Qualifications Required 2 to 5 years of frontend development experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React. Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles. Experience integrating backend REST APIs.
Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows. Understanding of state management libraries (NgRx, Redux, Context API). Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience with Angular, Micro Frontends or Module Federation.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of frontend security and accessibility standards (WCAG). Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
